Ravencoin (RVN) is a decentralized, open-source platform based on blockchain technology with its own, native RVN cryptocurrency, aimed at easy and cheap creation of digital assets, including tokenization of physical objects such as works of art. The source code of the project is based on the bitcoin (BTC) repository.
Ravencoin is a network based on the Proof of Work consensus algorithm, which means that miners are responsible for the continuity and stability of the network, and they confirm transactions, create new transaction blocks and mine new cryptocurrency units.
